Artist Hitomi Sato out of Tokyo has unveiled her latest installation, titled “Sense of Field,” which allows people to experience oscillations in light. The exhibit contains thousands of “film hands” protruding from parallel walls, Sato says, “They are the lighting hair which covers a creature.”

Each “hair” has a small round ball on the end, that allows goers to brush against them with out being pricked, but also gives a different feel. No two experiences are the same, because the movements differ based on how many bristles have been disturbed and the angle in which they were brushed. Check out the video below.
